It will eventually reach the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and into Hays County. APF partnered with Hill Country Conservancy to place mile markers on the trail in 2016, and is working with HCC to build a brand new trailhead at Zilker in 2018.
At Austin Parks Foundation, they recognize the importance of the Barton Creek Greenbelt and have dedicated to long-term investments into the trail.
