Texas Rowing Center is a rowing, kayaking, and stand-up paddle board (SUP) concession located in downtown Austin on the north shore of the Lady Bird Lake hike and bike trail directly across from Austin High School. Their mission is to provide the best rowing, kayaking, and stand-up paddle board (SUP) programs in Austin. And because they operate on a volume basis, their prices are the lowest in Austin. Their mission at the Texas Rowing Center is to provide enjoyable paddling and rowing to everyone who wants to participate, regardless of experience or ability. They are partnered with the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department to provide a safe and fun environment on Lady Bird Lake. They team up with local non-profit organizations to keep their trails and water ways clean. In addition to providing daily instruction for rowing, kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddle (SUP) boarding, TRC offers hourly and daily rentals for visitors, as well as annual membership packages. They also host youth summer camps, after-school rowing programs, competitive rowing teams for adults, Paralympics training for athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities, and several other events and classes throughout the year.
