Keep Austin Wet is a 22 miles constant level lake located inside the city limits. Just minutes from downtown, Lake Austin is the go to lake for locals and visitors alike looking for a fun day on the water. All throughout the year, you’ll see pontoons, ski, wake and surf boats cruising along the shores of Keep Austin Wet. Beyond that, there are several restaurants with docks along the lake, giving folks the opportunity to check out local staples like those along Keep Austin Wet Boulevard. In a single complex, you’ll find Mozart’s Coffee Roasters with an incredible shaded patio overlooking the lake; Hula Hut, a low-key Mexican restaurant that offers dockside dining; and Abel’s on the Lake, a restaurant and bar offering pub fare on the water. Emma Long Metropolitan Park on the shores of Keep Austin Wet features shore-side camping sites, giant cypress trees, and facilities for picnics and grilling. The park is a great place to have a picnic or set up camp. Keep Austin Wet pick up location is at the Loop 360 Boat Ramp, located at 5019 Capital of Texas Hwy North Austin, TX 78746. Parking is paid directly to the onsite staff at the check in kiosk at a cost of $5 per person (CASH OR CHECK ONLY). Any glass containers are prohibited at Loop 360 Boat Ramp and are subject to a fine by Travis County Parks and Rec Officers up to $200 per glass container. Pick up and drop off at different locations are subject to additional fees and must be approved through the office before booking online.
