Big rooms all on one story are well-appointed with comfortable, real-life furnishings. Each beautiful room is filled with decorator items, art and our findings from travels around the world, with a Texas twist. Walk or bike the miles of local greenbelt or our shady neighborhood. Shop and dine at many, many stores and restaurants you can take a short walk or drive to. Play tennis, do yoga and pilates, work out, golf, hear music, shop a farmer's market, see a movie at the famous Alamo Draft House - all within our little inner-city neighborhood.
Large Private Backyard:
Did you see the backyard? This Austin vacation rentals backyard is totally private! No can see you, at all. Big blue swimming pool and tranquil waterfall soothe the sizzle during the warm times. Solar heating extends the swimming season. Water volleyball anyone? Or sit on the beverage ledge up to your waist in calming water. Sink into the spacious hot tub anytime for deep relaxation. Especially nice on cool evenings or during a Texas rain. Be still, meditate or sweat your poisons away in the 2 people dry sauna. Afterward, refresh and cleanse the body and soul with a private hot and cold outdoor shower. a private potty is conveniently located so you don't have to run through the house. A large covered pavilion is perfect for backyard dining, gathering, and grilling. Or sit in repose in one of the many seating areas with a morning or evening beverage. Stay dry during a spectacular Texas downpour, or enjoy the sun under the UV guard roof. nature abounds and wind chimes resonate.
Lodging Accommodations:
Each bedroom is private with drawers and hanging space for your things. Sleep well in the ethnic chic master on a sumptuous king bed. The big attached master bath is striking with separate vanities for 2, plenty of counter space, and private john. Luxuriate in the big 2 people sized shower with dual Grohe massage showerheads. More peaceful sleep awaits in the 2nd large bedroom decorated with soothing touches, a super comfy queen bed, and resting or reading chair. Watch a movie or catch the news in bed on the 56 inch smart TV. A first-class treadmill is available to work off the Texas cuisine in the comfort of indoors, and the time flies while watching the tube. Or, it can be removed. The 3rd sleeping area is a combination office, library and with a sunny window, with a sleeper sofa - Snug as a bug surrounded by warm pine walls and books.
Large Public Areas:
Two large living rooms provide tons of seating for gatherings and home entertainment. Blinds close to provide a darkened space for optimal screen viewing on the large Smart TV. Or, big windows let in the light and a view of the private back yard. Relax in the glow of the convenient gas light fireplace that can be turned on instantly anytime. The fun vintage bamboo bar with stools is well stocked with barware and complimentary mixers. If you must, work at the handy desk equipped with task light, power, USB charger port, and basic office supplies. Strong wifi is available everywhere.
Dining Area:
Dine at the big handcrafted table that comfortably seats 8, open to the amazing kitchen. Or at the breakfast bars that seat 4. A swinging arm TV provides viewing from both the dining room and kitchen. Great for holiday meals.
There is nothing left to desire about this gourmet kitchen, appointed with every appliance, gadget and service ware that you can imagine. Ample storage is provided for your groceries out of sight in cabinets or on countertops. The 1/2 bath and laundry is conveniently located just off the kitchen.

This is our primary private residence much of our time so it has everything you could want for everyday comfort and convenience. This is no stripped-down investment property. This is your home away from home. We are frequent travelers who stay in "By Owner" properties so we know what travelers want. Plus, we have other "By Owner" properties in the US and internationally, so we know how to make you comfortable and manage your wants and needs.
