Enjoy quiet Hill Country golf in the middle of Lake Travis and away from the crowds and confines of Austin. The Point Venture Golf Club was designed in 1972 by the 3-time Masters Champion – Jimmy Demaret. The Dallas Morning News has named Point Venture Golf Club “one of the best 9-hole courses in Texas” and the Austin Business Journal named Point Venture in their “Best of Golf Courses in Austin”. The course is carved out of the rocks and cedar trees that define the Hill Country of central Texas. Since the course was laid out on a peninsula on the north shore of the world famous Lake Travis, beautiful views of the lake can be seen from four of the 9 holes. Tight fairways and small undulated greens make it a challenge for the best players; however, with no water hazards or bunkers even a beginner golfer can enjoy their round at Point Venture Golf Club! Whether you have been golfing your entire life, or have just begun to appreciate the game, Point Venture offers a membership option that suits you. Our challenging course and friendly staff ensures our members will enjoy bringing guests out for a drink, as well as perfecting their game.

The Golf Shop at Point Venture Golf Club:

Welcome to the golf shop at Point Venture Golf Club! The Point Venture Golf Shop is well stocked with all of your golfing needs. We have a logoed indoor putting green for you to try out all the hottest new putters on the market before you purchase them. They have all the newest golf clubs from Callaway and Cleveland in stock. You may set up a club fitting session on Trackman with Director of Golf, Justin Orbin to make sure you are buying the best equipment for your game. Point Venture Golf Club  have a section set up for our junior golfers including clubs, gloves, clothes, hats, and shoes from brands such as US Kids, Puma, and Under Armour. We also have a large selection of men’s clothes from companies such as Greg Norman, FootJoy, and Puma. Footjoy golf shoes, socks, and all types of headwear are available to finish off the wardrobe.

Women’s clothing and accessories from companies such as Tail, Greg Norman, and Footjoy also have their own section of the golf shop. We also have your everyday needs such as Titleist and Callaway golf balls, Mizuno and Callaway golf gloves, a plethora of golf tee choices, poker chip ball markers, sunglassses, sunscreen, insect repellent, logo golf balls, etc. They have logoed golf bags from Callaway and OGIO, and all your favorite teams such as the Longhorns, Cowboys, Texans, etc. Remember if you cannot find something you want or like just let us know what you want and they can special order almost anything! The golf shop also houses our brand new trophy case with all the trophies from our major tournaments throughout the year. Finally the golf shop does sell gift cards for all the golfers in your life!
