The Strictly Hardly Marty Party

The Strictly Hardly Marty Party is a testament to what's possible when highly skilled professionals decide to have a little fun. The prime directive of this ensemble is play how you want, don't over-think it and if it feels like work, don't do it. The core members represent over 200 years of playing experience, hundreds of recordings and tenures in some of Austin's most beloved bands (Asleep At The Wheel, Marcia Ball, Robert Earl Keen, Shinyribs, Jimmy LaFave) and they have chosen this project to let it all hang out. Expect Jazz, Country, Blues, Swing, Folk, Americana to pop up when least expected. And there is a special guest each week. Past guests include Bill Kirchen, Marcia Ball, Kevin Russell, Bruce Robison, Emily Gimble, Rich Brotherton and many more. Expect cake. After all, it's a party.
