Give Back Gig

At Give Back Gig, we believe food is community. Hosted by the Visit Austin Foundation, this annual event celebrates the chefs who serve as the heartbeat of our local hospitality industry—acting as essential mentors, storytellers, and leaders in our community. Give Back Gig strengthens Austin’s hospitality workforce by pairing award-winning chefs with culinary students from the Travis Early College High School culinary program for a hands-on, collaborative experience. Guests will enjoy a special tasting menu developed by our chef-student pairs, along with specialty beverages and live music from Austin musicians.
