Hosted by the Visit Austin Foundation\, this annual event celebrates the chefs who serve as the heartbeat of our local hospitality industry—acting as essential mentors\, storytellers\, and leaders in our community. Give Back Gig strengthens Austin’s hospitality workforce by pairing award-winning chefs with culinary students from the Travis Early College High School culinary program for a hands-on\, collaborative experience. Guests will enjoy a special tasting menu developed by our chef-student pairs\, along with specialty beverages and live music from Austin musicians. Chefs include: Executive Chef Rick Lopez | La Condesa Executive Chef Ali Clem | la Barbecue Executive Chef Tavel Bristol-Joseph | Canje Chef de Cuisine Kevin Cannon | Barley Swine Chef Amanda Turner | Olamaie Executive Chef Mark Dayanandan | Hilton Austin With special guest and emcee for the evening\, Mando Rayo of United Tacos of America. Give Back Gig proudly supports the mission and vision of the Visit Austin Foundation \, Good Work Austin \, and Urban Roots .
