Event overview

What this event is about

The Summer Solstice is a time to celebrate the longest day, and all the goodness that the sun brings. In traditional cultures, the sun was revered for its life-giving power to make crops grow. The longer summer days allowed for more abundance to harvest in fall and sustain us through the winter. In our Summer Solstice celebration, we will revel in the joy of summer, reflect on the metaphorical gifts that sunshine brings to our lives, and set intentions for this season of light and heat, work and abundance. The ritual is non-denominational and open to all. Each attendee will receive a memento from the ritual to take home.
