The Secret Garden is coming to life! Contracommon is proud to present Secret Garden, a one-night-only immersive fundraiser party blending art, performances, fantasy, and interactive installations on May 1st from 6-10pm. For one day, on the first of May, see Contracommon in a new way. At the Secret Garden, you’ll get to experience all parts of our mission: A floral and fantasy themed exhibition featuring local emerging artists The transformation of our flexible workshop space into a fantasy wonderland Unique artist studios, personal to each of our members But this is more fun than the average fundraiser. We’ve invited all types of artists and performers to join us: drag, burlesque, musicians, and dancers, to name a few! Not to mention art installations, a photo booth, and more experiences you can only find at this one-night-only event. Of course we’ll have some special offerings from our sponsors too: Thorin's Mead, Dolce Estivo winery, Twin Liquors, and the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center. All ticket sales for our second annual fundraiser directly support our mission to empower emerging artists via exhibition opportunities, workshops, affordable studio spaces, and creative community.
