Event overview

What this event is about

Join us for an extraordinary evening with Lorenzo Trefethen, third-generation vintner of Trefethen Family Vineyards in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. This intimate mix and mingle event offers wine enthusiasts a rare opportunity to meet a leader of one of Napa's pioneering wine families in a relaxed, personal setting. You'll also have the opportunity to purchase a select Halo vertical, available for the first time in Texas. Trefethen Family Vineyards was founded in 1968 by Eugene and Catherine Trefethen. Today the estate is home to the only surviving 19th-century wooden, three-level gravity-flow winery in Napa Valley, and every bottle is produced exclusively from sustainably farmed, estate-grown fruit. Now, together with his sister Hailey, Lorenzo carries the family's legacy forward. He'll share stories from three generations of estate winegrowing and guide you through a selection of wines that express the unique spirit of Trefethen's land, vines, and people. Lorenzo grew up surrounded by wine and the people it draws together, an experience that led him to take command of the wine tasting course in Stanford University's French Department. That same instinct for bringing people together brought him back to Napa, where he now travels to support the business and its export markets, modernizes the systems behind the winery's direct-to-consumer sales, and sits on the company's finance committee. Space is limited for this intimate gathering. Don't miss this opportunity to taste remarkable wines and meet a leader in California winemaking!
