Friends in Time: 25th Annual Soul 2 Sole Festival Faculty Showcase

An evening of solos and play with the faculty of The 25th Annual Sole 2 Sole Tap Festival with festival artists Dianne Walker, Acia Gray, Brinae Ali, Margaret Morrison, Jeremy Arnold, Luke Hickey, Elizabeth Burke, Nicholas Van Young and Siobhan Alexis with the Soul 2 Sole Jazz Trio with Masumi Jones on drums, Angelo Lembesis on piano and Dylan Jones on bass with Austin poet laureate Zell Miller III. Tapestry Dance Company presents the 25th Annual Soul 2 Sole Fesitval, returning after the forced cancellation last year due to withdrawal of $30,000 of awarded funds from the National Endowment for the Arts. This one-of-a-kind, “Austintatious” tap festival has brought world renown tap artists from around the world for a soulful live reunion for actually 35 years (originally The Austin Tap Jam). It has been a joy to bring Soul 2 Sole and its founding as The Austin Tap Jam experience to thousands of dancers and audiences since 1991.
