Cajun Fiddle Workshop

Develop your Cajun fiddling skills with Peter Schwarz, in a 2 hour small group gathering. I teach Dewey Balfa's methodology of Cajun fiddle instruction, right here in south Austin. For this session, we'll focus for about an hour on some strategies to help you get up to speed quickly for jam sessions. After that, feel free to stick around for some practice together, in a slow jam. The group will be capped at 10 students, and RSVP is required. The location is inside a recording studio near Radio South. This instruction is perfect for anyone who has at least some basic skills on the violin or fiddle, in any tradition or genre, or is already an intermediate musician on another instrument.
