Event overview

What this event is about

The Austin Micro-Latinx Book Festival will be a celebration of Texas’ multifaceted culture, literature, and creative spirit. We invite established and emergent writers to connect and all corners of our community to meet a multigenerational slate of authors, publishers, booksellers, and activists to discuss the impact of Latinx and Indigenous publications, publishing, and writing in the face of censorship, erasure, and related assaults on our collective knowledge. The weekend will include readings and signings from prominent Texas writers, as well as workshops, music, food, and vending.
