Join Austin’s largest Independence Day celebration on July 4, 2021, at Vic Mathias Shores (formerly Auditorium Shores) and the Long Center.
The H-E-B Austin Symphony 42nd Annual July 4th Concert and Fireworks is planned, produced, and performed entirely by the Austin Symphony, with the help of its generous sponsors.
The Austin Symphony pays for the fireworks for downtown Austin. However, this is with the help of their generous sponsors Importantly, they rely on community support from wonderful businesses and patrons like you to help them light up the sky.

Don’t miss Starnes Island annual firework show hosted by Volente Beach
This year’s show starts just at dark at 6:00 pm on Friday, July 2nd.
If you are looking to get the best seat in the house we recommend the following:
1.) Joining thousands of boats around the island. You can do this by renting a boat from one of the boat rental companies listed on our website.
2.) Hike to Volente park and find a comfy hilltop.
3.) Buy tickets from Volente Beach Resort and get dinner and a firework show.

Head to the Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Festival

What To Expect: Shopping, dining, live music, fireworks, and local art vendors spread out on the streets of the Hill Country Galleria. If you get there early enough you can visit resident boutiques and merchants who call Hill Country Galleria home.
Time: 4:00pm -10:00pm CST

What To Bring: Bring a blanket and chair to sit on the grassy lawn.

Lakeway Fireworks Show

Join Lakeway’s biggest celebration of the year, Independence Day! Join this three day free event.
What to expect: Old-fashioned July 4th Celebration. We have activities for the whole family. This year, we’re including fireworks Friday evening, our parade on Saturday morning, and Swim Center activities throughout the weekend.
