Auditorium Shores Park is located in downtown Austin, Texas. It name is set with reference to its location that it is between the old Palmer Auditorium and Lake Lady Bird Shores.
Auditorium Shores was opened for the public in 1959 as a joint venture of Palmer Auditorium. This was in extreme need of renovation and re-development. So there was some renovations after joint venture with Palmer Auditorium in Lake Park and Auditorium Shores in 1999.
This Auditorium shores is famous for the arrangement and management of outdoor events like outdoor musical concerts, different local and international festivals, and many other events. You can also arrange games like Frisbee, Kite Flying and at times you can bring your dog and let it roam freely there at Auditorium Shores. Along Lady Bird Park this Park has ample space to picnic for any other event so no event can undergo.
Auditorium Shores was popular among the visitors and liked by them for years and years. The views of Lady Bird Lake are amazing. Auditorium Shore has Stevie Ray Vaughan Memorial Statue there. Moreover, as it is adjacent to Lady Bird Lake Park you can have a chance for hiking on the track that is Hike and Bike Trail along the south bank of this lake.
