We’ll learn about our Sun through hands-on activities: - View our Sun safely through a telescope and Sunspotter - Make a lifecycle of a star bracelet - Make a sundial - Make a solar print with cyanotype paper and natural objects found at the park - Enjoy a hike on the trails afterward This is a free\, come-and-go\, family-friendly event for all ages! Bring a water bottle and a snack or lunch. Stay to play and hike on the trails after the program. Please note: there are no public restrooms at this park. If storms are in the forecast on the day of the event\, we will notify you by email at least two hours prior to the start time to let you know if the event will be rescheduled.
