Some of Texas’ most accomplished pitmasters will go head-to-head in a live-fire competition filled with bold flavors\, fierce rivalries\, and Texas-sized fun. Guests can sample barbecue from competing teams\, meet the pitmasters behind the smoke\, and cast their vote in the People’s Choice competition. The lineup features 10 standout pitmasters from across Texas—each with top honors like Grand Champion\, Reserve Grand Champion\, and Cook of the Year titles. Their dishes will be judged on taste\, execution\, and presentation by an esteemed panel\, including: · Harry Soo\, world-renowned pitmaster and founder of Slap Yo' Daddy BBQ · Trey Chapman\, creator of Treys Chow Down · Madison Booker\, Texas Longhorns basketball standout · Bob McClaren\, President & CEO of McClaren Farms and 44 Farms · Rob Arocha of Bullhorn BBQ and the So Smokin' Gooder Show will emcee the event.
