DESCRIPTION:Affordable Art Fair w ill once again transform the Palmer Events Center into a dynamic art destination from May 14 to 17\, 2026\, bringing together 22 local galleries in addition to several regional\, national and international galleries for its third annual showcase in the city. Art works ranging from $100 to $12\,000\, all created by emerging and established living artists will be available for purchase during the four-day event. Affordable Art Fair transforms art buying from intimidating to inviting\, offering paintings\, prints\, sculpture and photography in a welcoming and fun atmosphere\, where browsing is encouraged and questions are welcomed. Tickets will be available for purchase on March 4\, 2026. “Austin has such a curious\, creative spirit\, and Affordable Art Fair is designed to meet people right where they are—whether they’re buying their very first piece or adding to a well-loved collection\,” said Cori Teague\, Texas Fair Director. “After two incredibly successful years in the city\, we’re excited to expand into a larger footprint at Palmer Events Center\, allowing us to welcome more galleries\, more artists and more visitors. By bringing together an incredible mix of local\, national and international galleries with transparent price points\, we’re making contemporary art feel accessible\, exciting and deeply personal for our community.” New this year\, Affordable Art Fair Austin will feature four artists who will be live painting each evening of the fair. Attendees who donate to the fair’s charity partner\, Dell Children’s Hospital\, will be entered to win one of the live-painted artworks. ROXEHA \, an artistic duo by Roxanne Wegscheider & Denis Auspert\, will invite art lovers to grab a pen to help color on their booth’s walls\, evoking the unconventional shapes and abstract forms their art is known for. Smartist \, an app that allows buyers to visualize artwork in their own space\, will have an onsite activation to help attendees see what a specific piece of art will look like in their home.
